Some places just get families and Crackerjack Cooroy is one of them. Every time we visit, we leave saying: “Why aren’t more restaurants like this?” Great food, happy kids, and a chance for us to actually breathe.

Where the Grown-Ups Can Breathe

Moving the play area to the front was a game changer. Our kids disappear into the mud kitchen, sand play and climbing frame while we finish sentences and enjoy a cold drink. There’s pram space, high chairs, a change table, all the little things parents look for without it feeling like a “kids venue.”

The Food We Keep Talking About

The banquet is one of those “just get it” situations, it’s generous, flavourful and perfect for sharing. We’re still dreaming about the Slow Cooked Beef Massaman and the Beer Battered Bug Roti Taco. Even the kids’ mini pork rib is a winner in our households.
