This time it was just Zara and I with three little ones: two four-year-olds and one two-and-a-half-year-old. Our kids measured 90cm, 100cm and 110cm, which meant we got a really good understanding of what is available at different heights throughout the park.

If we’re being honest, our first visit felt a bit like we were figuring it out as we went. This time we went in with a plan, and it completely changed the experience.
We asked staff for their tips, checked the kids’ heights as soon as we arrived, worked out which rides they could go on, and mapped out our day before jumping on anything.
The result? A much more relaxed day where the kids got the most out of the experience and we weren’t constantly trying to work out what to do next.
Before we jump into the height guide, here are a few things that made our day easier.
Our Tips for Visiting Aussie World with Little Kids
1. Get a Height Check as Soon as You Arrive: This was one of the best tips we received. The kids are given wristbands with their height on it, which means they don’t need to be measured at every ride throughout the day.
2. Plan Your Day Around Their Heights: Once we knew what rides each child could go on, we sat down with the map and planned our day. It meant less walking back and forth and more time enjoying the rides.
3. Enjoy the Rides Together: One thing we loved most was actually riding with the kids. While some rides allow taller children to ride independently, there is something really special about experiencing the excitement with them. Our personal favourites were Bug Run and The Plunge (great in the hotter months), and watching their confidence grow throughout the day was one of the highlights.
Hot Tip: Our favourite time to visit is first thing, in the morning during the week. The kids are fresh, excited and ready to go, making it a great time to tick off some of the popular rides before they get busy.Â
Rides for Little Kids at Aussie World

Was It Worth It? Absolutely.
What surprised us most was how much there was for younger children to do. Our 90cm, 100cm and 110cm riders all had plenty of options throughout the day, and because we planned ahead, nobody spent much time feeling left out.
We visited as two mums with three little kids and genuinely had the best time. Watching them build confidence, tackle bigger rides and experience that thrill of independence was incredibly rewarding.
We’d happily recommend Aussie World to families with little kids and will definitely be back again.
