My neighbours had been telling us about this spot for ages, and when we finally went, we weren’t disappointed. The deck has beautiful views along the coastline, and if you look down into the water, you might even spot turtles. The first time we visited there were so many, although we haven’t been quite as lucky on our last couple of visits.

My oldest loves bringing his scooter here and zooming along the cement pathway and boardwalk. We usually spend around 20 minutes here, so it’s a great little stop when you’re looking for something quick to do rather than a whole morning out.

There’s one covered table with chairs, although it was a little worn when we visited, and no toilets at the deck itself. The closest public toilets we found were at Point Arkwright.

Finding the entrance can be a little tricky. If you come from Dewar St, turn right onto Jubilee Esplanade and keep an eye out for the small opening and pathway through the bushes.

We visited February 2025. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking the business’s website or social media before visiting.
