The 1.2km circuit takes you through a mix of wetland, rainforest, vine forest and Wallum woodlands, with an elevated boardwalk section that was definitely the highlight for our little one. He loved being able to scoot along it while looking out for wildlife as we went.

Once we moved onto the walking trail, the scooter became a little trickier and he opted for shoulders instead. The track does have some exposed tree roots and uneven sections, so if you’re bringing little wheels, just keep in mind they may not be suitable for the entire circuit.

There is also a small playground and picnic table, giving you somewhere to stop for a snack or let the kids have a play before or after your walk.

It’s beautifully shady and feels surprisingly tucked away considering you’re right amongst Yaroomba. We’d definitely recommend bringing insect repellent, particularly during the warmer months or after rain, when mosquitoes, sandflies and midges can be around.

We visited January 2025. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking the business’s website or social media before visiting.
