This is one of those easy little parks our kids always enjoy, and it’s actually a go to for their dad when I’m at work! Wyanda Park is tucked back from the beach, with a shaded playground, loads of grass and a path that takes you straight down to the sand.

The playground has a mix of climbing equipment, slides and swings, with shade sails covering most of the play area. There’s also a huge grassy area that’s perfect for kicking a ball, plus picnic tables and BBQs if you want to bring something to eat.

One of our favourite things is how close it is to the beach. When we visited, we wandered down the path afterwards for a play in the sand, so it’s an easy way to turn a playground stop into a little beach adventure too.

We visited February 2025. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Sunshine Coast Council’s website before visiting.
