The animals were definitely one of the biggest highlights for our little ones. You can purchase animal food at the farm and hand feed many of the animals, including llamas, alpacas, horses, goats, sheep, chickens and ducks. There’s also an interactive bunny and guinea pig area for some gentler animal pats.

Gypsy the camel was a favourite when we visited, and the train and tractor rides were a huge hit with the kids too. We loved that entry includes the attractions, rides and putt putt, so there isn’t an extra cost every time the kids spot something else they want to do.

There are also adventure and toddler playgrounds, a big sandpit, fossil dig and plenty of other activities to break up the animal encounters, which meant our kids were entertained for ages.

The farm is really accessible with bitumen pathways throughout most of the property, making it easy to get around with the pram. There are also plenty of places to stop for a picnic or snack along the way.

There’s a small café at the entrance serving coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, snacks, sandwiches, pies and sausage rolls, or you’re welcome to bring your own picnic.

You don’t need to book before visiting and tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day, which makes this a nice one when you don’t want to plan too far ahead.
