I’ve been visiting the Eumundi Markets since I was a child. We used to go early with my grandpa to get the best mangoes, so coming back with my own little ones and watching their faces light up at all the stalls, food and entertainment felt pretty special.

I honestly turned up thinking the kids would love it and wasn’t expecting it to be something we would all enjoy so much. There is such a huge variety of food and market stalls to explore, the kids loved looking at everything, and we really enjoyed the live music and atmosphere.

Our biggest tip is to get there early. We arrived around 8am and had no trouble finding a park, but by 10am the crowds had definitely picked up. There is also quite a bit of walking for little feet, so bringing the pram made things much easier for us.

Make sure you check out the playground while you’re there too, it’s always a favourite with our kids.
