The Brook is such a beautiful spot for a slower family outing. There are pathways to wander along, plenty of open space for the kids and timber seating if you want to pack some snacks and stop for a picnic.

One of our favourite parts is all the little details you can discover along the way, including the beautiful wooden animals carved into the timber features. They gave us the idea to create a little scavenger hunt for our kids while we explored, which made our wander even more fun.

The pathways make it an easy one to explore with a pram or little ones on wheels, and there’s plenty of open green space if they just want to run around.

We visited January 2026. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking the Sunshine Coast Council website before visiting.
