The seesaw was the first thing my kids ran to at Sunshine Cove Park, but heading down to the jetty to spot all the tiny fish ended up being just as much fun!

The playground sits right beside the lake, with play equipment for different ages and plenty of grass for running around or setting up a picnic. There are also tables and BBQs overlooking the water, which is a lovely spot to settle in while the kids play.
We took the kids down onto the jetty and they loved looking for tiny fish in the water. There’s also a boardwalk along the lake if you want to add a walk, bike or scooter ride to your visit.
We visited February 2025. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Sunshine Coast Council’s website before visiting.
