Convincing my daughter to leave this café was a task in itself, because this would have to be one of the best café playgrounds we’ve found on the Coast. Built for kids aged 2 to 12, they have honestly thought of so much here.

The café is inside Sanctuary Church, with plenty of seating inside and undercover outside. Get there early and you might even spot a kangaroo out the front.

We did the playground first, stopped for a coffee and savoury scone, which I would definitely recommend, then it was straight back out to play.

The playground has been so thoughtfully designed, with signage showing which equipment suits each age group under five. There is climbing, slides, a swing, bounce mat and a giant treehouse, but the talking flowers were the clear favourite for my daughter.

It is fully fenced and shaded, with an amazing parents room and a quiet space for feeding your bub.

HOT TIP: If you have a pram, park in the car park on the left as you enter. There is a pram friendly shortcut straight to the café.

If you’re looking for somewhere new to meet a friend, catch up with the mums or grab a coffee while the kids play, add this one to the list.

And to everyone who asked us not to share this one after our teaser… sorry 😂 It was too good to keep a secret.

We visited August 2026. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking the business’s website or social media before visiting.
