A relaxing lunch on the Noosa River WITH little ones sounds almost too good to be true, but this was one of those outings that genuinely worked for the whole family. We got to sit back with lunch and a drink while our little one was completely captivated by being on the boat.

We honestly werenβt sure what to expect before we went, but we were so surprised by how enjoyable it was with our little one. It felt like we were getting a relaxing lunch out while he got a boat adventure at the same time.
The Noosa Queen has been cruising the Noosa River since 1970, and Captain Dan shares plenty about the local history, wildlife and surrounding area as you cruise along the river.
Our little one was captivated by the boats, birds, wildlife and everything happening around him, which meant we could actually sit back, enjoy our lunch and take in the views.
Your ticket includes a choice of nine lunch options, with non seafood choices available too, plus a complimentary drink on arrival. Thereβs also a fully licensed bar onboard if youβd like another drink during the cruise.
The cruise runs for around two hours, which we found was a really manageable length with a little one. There are indoor and outdoor areas to explore, as well as a toilet onboard.
Parking at Noosa Marina is free for three hours, but you do need to register your number plate using the QR code or ticket machines when you arrive.
We visited September 2025. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Noosa Queenβs website or social media for current cruise days, pricing and availability before visiting.
