Our first visit here completely exceeded our expectations, and we quickly realised there is so much more for little ones to discover than simply wandering through the gardens.

Right near the entrance you’ll find a fully fenced playground that’s a great size for younger kids, with plenty of shade and the car park conveniently close by.
If your little ones love their bikes or scooters, bring them along. The winding pathways, little hills and corners make exploring the gardens even more fun, with plenty to discover along the way.
One of our kids’ favourite finds was the Dino Dig, where they could dig through the sand to uncover large hidden “fossils”. It’s also covered by a shade sail, making it a great spot to stop and play for a while.
Another fun stop is the amphitheatre. Our little one loved standing in the middle, calling out and listening to his voice echo back, and it turned into such a simple way to teach him about echoes while we explored.
The gardens themselves cover eight hectares, with winding paths, large lawns, ponds and plenty of shady spots under the trees for a picnic. You could easily spend a few hours here with a picnic, the kids’ wheels and nowhere else to be.
There are toilets and drinking water within the gardens, and we’ve found the pathways easy to explore with a pram. We’d also recommend packing insect repellent, particularly after rain.
We visited December 2024. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking the business’s website or social media before visiting.
