We’ve been following Beth and Cass’s journey with Mum Hub x Elate since they first shared their dream of creating a space for Sunshine Coast families, and it has been so lovely watching what they’ve created continue to grow.
The Open Play space is designed for little ones under five, with dedicated areas for different stages. Pre walkers have their own soft sensory space, while toddlers can explore cubbies, busy boards and different play areas at their own pace.
One of the things we love most is that the sessions are capped at 12 children, which helps keep the space from feeling too busy or overwhelming. Parents can get down and play too, or sit nearby with a coffee while their little one explores.
There’s a café onsite serving locally roasted coffee, fresh pastries and toddler friendly snacks, which makes it an easy option when you want somewhere to play AND grab something to eat without making another stop.
Upstairs, Mum Hub x Elate also runs mums groups, workshops and other classes and events, so there’s much more happening here beyond Open Play.
Bookings are recommended because each session has capped numbers. Walk ins are possible when there’s space, although they cost an additional $2, so booking ahead is your best option.
We visited July 2026. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Mum Hub x Elate’s website or social media for current session availability, pricing and opening hours before visiting.
