My daughter and I had a morning together and while the rain held off, we explored every inch of Little Mountain Common! She ran straight for the train, but somehow we ended up trying out the exercise equipment too.

There’s so much for kids to explore here, with a castle fort, climbing net, slide, train, flying fox and a bike track complete with little road signs. My daughter loved the train, and the huge grassy area gives them even more room to run around or kick a ball.

There’s also exercise equipment, a cricket pitch and, across Raintree Boulevard, a skate park and basketball half court. If you’re bringing the dog along, there’s a separate fully fenced off leash dog park at the northern end of the park too.

We visited March 2025. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Sunshine Coast Council’s website before visiting.
