Water play is definitely the highlight at J R Ford Park! My kids had so much fun splashing through the fountains and little waterfalls, and the ankle deep water makes it a fun spot to cool off with little ones.

The water play area is HUGE, with fountains, bubblers and shallow water to splash around in. Thereโ€™s also a small playground with climbing equipment, swings and a slide, plus a basketball half court and loads of grass for a picnic or kicking a ball.

The playground itself doesnโ€™t have shade overhead, so thatโ€™s worth keeping in mind on warmer days, although there are shady spots around the wider park. The closest toilets are over at Golden Beach near Fraser Park.
