We visited Giggles Playgroup just before Christmas, and I was genuinely surprised by how much there was for the kids to do. The play area is enclosed, which made it much easier with two little ones, and there was a huge variety of toys for different ages as well as a soft mat area for babies.
The morning included plenty of free play as well as a craft station for the kids, and there’s an outdoor playground if they want to head outside.
One of the things that really stood out to us was how welcoming everyone was. Day, who runs Giggles, remembered both our names and our kids’ names after just one visit and made such an effort to introduce parents and help everyone feel included.
There’s a cuppa and light morning tea available for parents and carers, plus a café at the entrance if you want to grab something else to eat or drink.
If you’d like to try Giggles, your first visit is free, but make sure you message the Giggles Playgroup Facebook page before heading along. You don’t need to register for your first session. If you decide you’d like to continue for the term, you can then register and pay the $30 term fee.
We visited December 2024. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Giggles Playgroup’s Facebook page or Suncoast Church before visiting.
