The outdoor area is really spacious, with plenty of grass for little ones to run around as well as mats and different toys set up to explore.

Inside there’s a lovely lounge area with soft play blocks on a cushioned mat. When we visited, some of the kids had created their own soft play obstacle course, which my little one had so much fun climbing over.

There was a great variety of activities throughout the morning, and these can change from week to week. My little ones especially loved the see through tunnel and slide, as well as spending time at the craft table.

There are toddler sized tables where the kids can sit for morning tea, plus a tea and coffee station for the adults.

Toilets are located across the hall from the playgroup, and there are also chairs outside for parents, carers and grandparents while the kids play.

When we visited the grass was still a little damp, so my crawling little one ended up with slightly wet clothes, but overall we really loved this free playgroup. It had such a lovely community feel and the kids had plenty to keep them entertained.

The playgroup doesn’t operate during school holidays, so make sure you check Baringa Community Centre for any updates before visiting.

We visited August 2024. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Baringa Community Centre’s website or social media before visiting.
