I had driven past here SO many times without knowing what to expect, but it turns out it’s such a great little spot for an easy walk or wheels adventure with little ones.

If you have a little one who loves a bike or scooter adventure while you push the pram, this is such a great spot to explore. The pathway is flat the whole way, with some paved sections and some unpaved, but we found it pretty smooth and manageable.

As you enter the wetlands there is shallow water on either side of the path, so you’ll want to keep an eye on little ones. There’s also a little stream running alongside parts of the pathway and plenty to look out for along the way. It took us around 15 minutes to reach the end, although that included lots of stops to look for frogs!

There are picnic tables nestled under the trees partway through the walk, which make a lovely spot to stop for a snack. I imagine there would be a few mozzies around in the warmer months, so I’d pack the bug repellent too.

The Leaky Teapot food trailer is located near the entrance and serves a range of hot and cold food and drinks, so you can also grab something to eat or a coffee while you’re there.

We visited August 2025. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking the business’s website or social media before visiting.
