Taking two little ones to the pool solo can feel like a mission, but I found Eumundi Aquatic Centre surprisingly manageable. I had my nine month old and older little one with me, and having a dedicated splash pool plus a family change room made the whole outing so much easier.

The children’s splash pool was perfect for my youngest, who was nine months old when we visited. It’s undercover, which is such a bonus on a hot day, and gave her somewhere to splash and enjoy the water while still being manageable with two kids on my own.

Once we were finished there, we moved over to the heated 25m pool. It has both a ramp and stairs for getting into the water, which worked really well because my oldest could swim while I stood in the water with my youngest on my hip.

There’s also a heated 12m teaching pool, plus a grassy area where you can stop and have a break between swims.

One of the biggest wins for me was the family change room. Having a private space with a shower, toilet and change table made getting two wet little ones showered, changed and ready to leave SO much easier.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t capture everything when we visited because I was solo at a pool with two kids and definitely had my hands full, but this ended up being such an easy option for cooling off with little ones.
