If you’re looking for a relaxed spot where the adults can enjoy a meal while the kids stay entertained, Coolum Beer Co is well worth a visit.

The outdoor play area is one of the first things you’ll notice. It’s mostly fenced and has plenty of space for little ones to move around, with a climbing dome and a giant three in one game board that was a huge hit with our kids.

Inside you’ll also find a great selection of toys, colouring activities and two pinball machines for older children, so there is plenty to keep everyone entertained while you wait for your food.

Although it’s a brewery, there are plenty of options for everyone, including wine, cider, spirits, non alcoholic drinks and juice for the kids. There are also high chairs available, making it an easy option if you’re visiting with younger children.

One thing to keep in mind is that much of the outdoor grassy area is in full sun, so if you’re visiting during the warmer months it’s worth bringing hats or grabbing one of the shaded tables if you can.

This has quickly become one of our favourite family friendly places for a Sunday afternoon. It’s spacious and somewhere both kids and adults can genuinely enjoy spending a few hours.
