Clarke Place Park

The pirate ship is always a winner at Happy Valley! Clarke Place Park is right on the beachfront in Caloundra, with plenty for the kids to explore and one of our favourite little additions, a café right in the middle of the park.

There’s plenty to keep different ages busy, with a pirate ship, lighthouse play fort, slides, climbing equipment, swings, sand play and more. My little one loved exploring every corner, and the double seesaw swing was a favourite because the kids could face each other while they played.

The beachfront location makes this one extra special. You can grab a coffee or something to eat from Happy Turtle Cafe, pack a picnic, or bring the swimmers and head down to the water after a play. There’s also plenty of seating, picnic shelters and BBQs throughout the park.

Parking can get busy, with car parks nearby as well as street parking, so be prepared for a little walk during busier times.
