We were so excited to stumble across this spot because it genuinely works for the whole family, dogs included! With a fully fenced outdoor and undercover play area, tables right next to it, great food and plenty to keep the kids entertained, it ticks so many boxes.

Chancellors Tavern makes dining out with kids easy. There’s a dedicated play area for the little ones, plus table tennis and bag toss for older kids and adults. The outdoor play area is fully fenced and undercover, with tables right beside it so you can stay close while the kids play.

Sundays are a great time to visit with kids eating free, plus free face painting and live music to keep everyone entertained while you enjoy your meal. We found the kids meals really generous, and there’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, including undercover tables.

It’s one of those places that makes a family meal feel that little bit easier, with something to keep everyone happy.
