My two little ones had a great time zooming around the pump track on their scooters, although they didn’t last too long before the playground right next door caught their attention.

The pump track is designed for different ages and skill levels. We’ve found it relatively quiet when we’ve visited, which gave our kids plenty of opportunity to have a go at their own pace.

One of the things we really like about this spot is that the pump track isn’t the only reason to visit. Right next door is a fully fenced and shaded playground, along with a large grassy area, picnic shelters, BBQs and plenty of seating, so you can easily make more of an outing of it.

For bigger kids and adults, this is also the starting point for the extensive Sugar Bag Road Mountain Bike Trails, with trails ranging from beginner through to more challenging options.

There is plenty of off street parking, toilets and an onsite cafe, which is always a bonus when you’re watching little ones do lap after lap.
