One of our favourite parts when we visited was meeting the Buddina Hens. You could feed the chickens, with signs showing what they could and couldn’t eat, which made it such a fun little learning experience for the kids.

There was also such a great mix of fruit and veggies growing throughout the garden, and we had so much fun finding them and learning their names. It’s a really lovely way to show little ones where some of their food actually comes from.

We also loved the gorgeous bench seat surrounded by potted flowers and information about the garden. I had made a little scavenger hunt for the kids before we went, which kept them entertained as we wandered around and is such an easy idea if you’re planning a visit.

When we visited, there were certain community beds you could pick from and leave a donation in the donation box. The garden was also manageable with a pram if you didn’t mind weaving between the garden beds.

There are no toilets within the garden itself, but Kawana Library is right nearby, and there is shared parking beside the garden. Just keep in mind that the area can become much busier around school drop off and pick up times.

We visited July 2024. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking the business’s website or social media before visiting.
