I had my three year old and one year old with me when we visited, and they had so much fun racing through the colourful toddler maze, especially when they discovered the little tunnel. We also explored the rope and tyre mazes, and while they didn’t quite understand the concept at their age, they had plenty of fun weaving and jumping their way through.

The nature playground was another favourite, with climbing structures, balancing elements and plenty to explore, but the water play was probably the biggest hit. The water is only shallow, but somehow our kids still managed to get completely soaked, so definitely pack a spare change of clothes.

I initially thought the kids might be too young for mini golf, but I was pleasantly surprised. My three year old had such a good time giving it a go, while my one year old was perfectly happy rolling the balls towards the holes.

There are plenty of other mazes and puzzles throughout the grounds, including the huge Bellingham Hedge Maze and Timber Maze. We found these better suited to bigger kids when we visited, but there was still more than enough to keep our little ones entertained.

I also have to mention the gardens because they are absolutely beautiful. From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by mature trees and lush gardens, with plenty of shady spots throughout the grounds.

Mazey’s Café is onsite with coffee, cold drinks, snacks, ice creams, baked treats and more substantial meals. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic, which is handy with little ones.

Most of Amaze World is outdoors, so hats, sunscreen and water bottles are a must, and I’d definitely add spare clothes if your kids are going anywhere near the water play.

We visited October 2024. While we do our best to keep our listings up to date, information can change. We recommend checking Amaze World’s website or social media for current opening hours, pricing and availability before visiting.
