A New Chapter for Little Sunny Coast

Little Sunny Coast started with two mums, four little kids and a problem we were constantly trying to solve ourselves: where should we go today?

What started as us sharing the places we were finding and loving has grown into a community of over 30,000 people across Instagram and Facebook, and somewhere along the way, we realised Little Sunny Coast could become so much more than simply sharing our own experiences.

We wanted to take what we were learning as two mums raising little kids on the Sunshine Coast and turn it into a genuinely useful resource for other families. Somewhere you could come when you actually needed an answer, search by location, find things suited to your kids’ ages, discover playgrounds, activities, places to eat and local events, or simply find an idea when you had no idea what to do, which is why we rebuilt the Little Sunny Coast website.

Our original website was built entirely by us, with absolutely no background in websites or tech, and it served us well as Little Sunny Coast was finding its feet. This time around, we knew we needed expert help and have worked closely with an incredible web developer to completely rebuild the site into what you see today. We’ve still spent countless hours adding every listing, blog, photo and piece of content ourselves, and seeing it all finally come together feels pretty special.

The new website also gives us the space to take Little Sunny Coast even further, including the launch of Sunny Club, our new membership. It’s something we’ve wanted to create for a long time, with exclusive local offers, helpful resources and even more ways to make getting out and about with little kids easier. And we really hope you love it.

More than anything, we want Little Sunny Coast to become the place Sunshine Coast families automatically think of when they need something to do with their kids. Not an endless list of places, but a genuinely useful local resource filled with the practical information we are always looking for ourselves.

There is still SO much we want to do, and this website is really just the beginning of the next chapter.
